I stopped by 5707 Ayala Ave on tour today. This property is still on the market after 43 days which is not the norm in the desirable Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. The average price point for a 3 bedroom, 1 bath home in Rockridge is roughly around $799K depending on square footage & if the house has "good bones." After two price drops, this house is now a great deal at $675K. This house has beautiful hardwood floors, ample space, and boasts architectural details throughout. There is a lovely deck outside and an detached garage that could easily be turned into an office space. The drawbacks of the property are the shared driveway and that it is by the freeway. However, once inside you do not hear the freeway noise and it's shielded by lovely foliage that makes you actually feel rather remote.
